Job Descriptions:

Senior Logic Manager
Required Skill and Experience: BSEE or higher with a good understand of CPU uArch, pipeline, MMU and cache control. Individual must have 8 years or greater experience in all aspects of logic design, including RTL coding and simulation, DV. The individual must be technical. Experience in full custom timing driven logic design is a plus.
Responsibilities: Individual will manage a small group of logic and circuit designer on a full custom embedded processor project. The individual will be responsible for designing the embedded processor to meet aggressive schedule and technical goals.

Program Manager

Program management activities for 32bits RISC uP IP cores. Initiate, lead, and oversee project from the development stage to the final mass production.  To meet with prospective & strategic Japanese customer's satisfaction & goals. (Bachelor in business, law or other liberal arts field + 5 yrs. related exp.)

Technical Marketing Coordinator

Responsible for technical aspects of marketing, promotion, and sales of 32bit RISC uP IP cores.  To drive Avalent's strategy for maximizing business and penetrating Major Japanese customers.  (BS in Marketing or Communications related fields with 3+ yrs. experience in similar job description, or as Sales Engineer). 

IC Design Engineers
Responsible for IC logic or circuit design of high performance, low power embedded microprocessor including memory, TLB, data-path units, etc. Synopsys and Verilog is preferable. (MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science)

Design For Testability Engineer
Design and implement VLSI DFT methodology, and design testing hardware for embedded microprocessors. Responsibilities include test vector generation and fault-grading analysis utilizing SCAN test methodology and DFT software. Develop high-coverage production test programs and a silicon debug flow for embedded microprocessors. Experience with VLSI DFT concepts and theory, DFT software, VLSI circuit design, and general microprocessor design knowledge are a plus. (BS/MS in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of related experience).

Verification Engineer
Involved in the functional verification of an embedded microprocessor. Should be able to learn the instruction-set architecture and micro-architecture of the processor. Responsibilities include developing diagnostic tests in assembly language, and working with designers on coverage analysis and bug isolation. The engineer will create tests by hand and by using a pseudo-random test generator. Additional responsibilities include developing test benches and DV tools. The ideal candidate is intelligent, motivated, and team-oriented. (BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of experience).

Software Engineer
Responsible for the design and implementation of system software for an embedded system. Development of a complete board level solution for debugging, validation, and demonstration of embedded hardware. Experience with embedded systems and RTOS design and implementation is desired. (BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with 2+ years experience).

Embedded Systems Engineer
Responsible for the specification and the design of microprocessor emulation and evaluation boards to provide a development and debug environment to validate the microprocessor's implementation and performance. Provide technical support to customers which includes customer training and assisting in the integration and optimization of the product in the customer's environment. Experience with programming in assembly language and C, debugging of embedded hardware and software, and designing of test boards is desired. (BS/MS/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 2+ years embedded systems experience).
